The enigma of Achievement in Human Brain

The Enigma of Achievement in Human Brain

What we could not achieve in our life is not the reflection of our inability to perform but mix of other factors independent of our abilities. We have been trying too hard to find ways to solve this but failed each time we tried. Does that mean we should leave ?

A Story

One Story goes like this, There were many people gathered at the railway station but none were for the same purpose. Does it mean that there were less people present ?

Nothing solves a mystery other than making it more complex and deep. why we must act together to achieve peace and prosperity when an act of crime can be committed alone. why can't an act of help can be achieved individually.

The Single Truth

Why do you write like this when nobody can understand what is being written and why is it being written. You justify your perspective and judgement by telling hundred lies, not to others but to yourself. everyone knows it's easy convincing others rather than yourself.

You have to live with yourself till death

Nothing can be worse, if you start telling lies to yourself to appeal others yet we do it all the time. This would make more sense if presented with an example but I won't do it because that would make it a very simple and easy to understand and it is generally given theory that once we understand a thing or know that it's super easy we do not pay much attention to it.

Another aspect of same anthology is getting to know your demons or bad habits and rather than improving upon them we make them  an excuse for our bad behaviour. Again I could illustrate this theory with large number of examples but no, that is bad for all of us, I think.

Moving on,  when you convince a person excellently by presenting him with as many examples as possible to prove your point, you suddenly get a feeling of self doubt after he leaves.  Convincing and persuasion are the major qualities of top leaders, diplomats , marketers and major human beings.

If we look into the argument presented  in the legal cases, we find that they rally hard on the formula of past incidents and past examples and past judgments. Is it the right approach ?

Well this is not the only approach but definitely the most used and most convincing one. This takes us to another territory of logic and reasoning and questions such as why do human do what they do or how do they behave under different circumstances. There is a book called Thinking, Fast and Slow by Daniel Kahneman  in which he beautifully explains the magic behind our thinking. He says there are two ways in which our brain works, one is voluntary and another is involuntary. The activities which comes naturally to us and the activities for which we have put more effort.

As a human being we are always looking for smarter ways of doing our tasks. When moving forward I always thought it is the best we can do but looking backward it feels it was the least we have done. Achievement and satisfaction come very easily to those who do not need it. What makes you recall your thoughts?
